Grameenphone Launches Video Packages with YouTube, Bongo & Popcornlive starting at very attractive prices

Leading telecom operator Grameenphone Ltd. launched video streaming offer from December 08, 2015 by partnering with YouTube, Bongo & Popcornlive, through which valued customers will be able to watch video clips starting at Taka 2 only.

The offer is applicable for prepaid customers only and will equip them to view videos from these specific websites with affordable streaming experience.

Speaking on the occasion of the launch Yasir Azman, Chief Marketing Officer at Grameenphone, said, ‘We have been working to provide Internet for All. But the customers need contents to make Internet experience worthwhile. We are working with different partners to develop appropriate contents and with this kind of offer making them affordable.”

The details of the Video Packages in partnership with YouTube, Bongo & Popcornlive are as follows:

The first package costing BDT 2 have a validity of 1 days. To activate this package customers need to *5000*32#.

The second package costs BDT 5 with a validity of 2 days. To activate this package customers need to dial *5000*33#.

The final package priced at BDT 15 with a validity of 7 days. To activate this package customers need to dial *5000*34#.

Remaining volume of all three packages can be checked by dialing *567#.

Grameenphone’s Head of Communications Nehal Ahmed, Ahad Mohammad Bhai, Managing Director, Stellar Digital Limited (Bongo) and Redoan Rony, Founder and Chairman of PopcornLive, along with other officials were also present at the launching ceremony.
